1. General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the contractual relationship between Château d’Urspelt SA and its Clients, covering all orders of products, services, and bookings made via www.chateau-urspelt.lu, by telephone or email.
Any order or reservation implies full acceptance of these T&Cs, which take precedence over any other document or the Client’s own terms.
Château d’Urspelt SA reserves the right to unilaterally amend the T&Cs. Any changes will apply upon publication on the website. Resale of any product or service without prior authorisation is strictly prohibited.

2. Client Declarations and Commitments

Services are available only to adults or minors aged 16 and above with legal capacity to accept the T&Cs.
The Client certifies the accuracy of the information provided, takes responsibility for any order made, and guarantees they are acting on their own behalf or for the beneficiaries. Château d’Urspelt SA reserves the right to refuse an order in case of incorrect information or fraudulent use of the site.

3. Remote Sale of Products and Services

Product and service descriptions and prices are available on www.chateau-urspelt.lu.

3.2 Placing an Order

All personalised orders imply acceptance of the current T&Cs and pricing. Orders are validated upon written confirmation received by the Client, forming the sales contract. Any error in the provided information must be reported immediately.

3.3 Delivery Conditions

Digital products or services (e.g. gift vouchers) are delivered after full payment. Château d’Urspelt SA is not liable for delivery delays caused by third-party providers.

3.4 Prices and Payment

Prices are shown in euros including VAT and may change without prior notice, except for confirmed orders. Full payment is required at the time of order.

3.5 Cancellation Policy

Appointments (e.g. SPA treatments) can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours prior. After that, the full amount will be charged.

4. Hotel Stay Reservation

4.1 Booking Conditions

A stay is confirmed upon provision of required information and credit card details for guarantee. Prices include applicable VAT; changes in VAT rates will be reflected accordingly.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

Individual reservations can be cancelled without charge up to 48 hours before scheduled arrival. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a one-night charge.
For prepaid refunds: a flat fee of €25.00 will be deducted from the refunded amount.

4.3 Stay Conditions

Check-in is from 1:00 or 3:00 PM (depending on room type), and rooms must be vacated by 11:00 AM. Early departures or late check-outs may result in additional charges.

4.4 House Rules

Smoking, cooking, or causing disturbances is prohibited. Clients are liable for any damage caused during their stay and must compensate Château d’Urspelt SA accordingly.

5. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with European law, Clients have a 14-day withdrawal period for remote purchases, excluding hotel bookings. Withdrawal must be communicated in writing to Château d’Urspelt SA. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt.

6. Liability and Force Majeure

Château d’Urspelt SA cannot be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to force majeure or actions by the Client or third parties. In case of cancellation due to force majeure, equivalent alternative accommodation may be offered, subject to Client approval.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content (www.chateau-urspelt.lu) is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, in full or in part, without prior written permission.

8. Disputes and Governing Law

Contracts are governed by Luxembourg law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of Luxembourg courts, subject to legal exceptions.

9. Personal Data Protection

Château d’Urspelt SA processes personal data in accordance with GDPR. Data is used solely for service delivery and is accessible only to authorised staff. Clients may access, modify, or delete their data by contacting Château d’Urspelt SA.

10. Legal Competence and Jurisdiction

In case of unresolved disputes, Luxembourg law applies, and only Luxembourg courts shall have jurisdiction.
The Establishment reserves the right to amend its rates and general terms at any time.

11. Pets

We are pleased to welcome you and your dog to Château d’Urspelt. Below are a few simple guidelines to help ensure the safety of your pet and the comfort of our guests:

• The hotel welcomes dogs under 10kg that are well-trained.
• A charge of €25.00 per dog per night will be added to your room account.
• On request, a dog bed and/or bowl can be provided, included in the above fee.
• Dogs must be kept on a short leash at all times on hotel premises.
• You must properly secure your dog and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• To comply with health and safety rules, dogs are not allowed in dining areas, except in the Château’s U-Lounge bar.
• Do not leave your dog unattended in your room. Château d’Urspelt staff are not permitted to enter your room without your presence.
  You are responsible for any property damage or personal injury caused by your dog. You also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners, and operators from any damage resulting from your pet’s presence.
  The hotel reserves the right to charge your account for any damage incurred and you will be required to provide a valid credit card at check-in for pre-authorisation. A room inspection will be conducted by housekeeping upon departure. If charges apply, you agree not to dispute them. These policies are in place to protect both parties and do not reflect any reluctance to welcome you and your dog.
